Carrie Wesnousky

ASSOCIATE


Carrie joined Clare Locke as an associate in 2026. Before joining the firm, Carrie served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, where she defended a wide range of civil lawsuits on behalf of federal agencies and officers.

Previously, Carrie worked as an associate at Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, D.C., with a focus in complex business litigation and products litigation. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Paul S. Diamond on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Carrie graduated magna cum laude from Duke University School of Law, where she served as Senior Notes Editor of the Duke Law Review and worked in the Wrongful Convictions Clinic. Before attending law school, Carrie worked as a litigation paralegal at a corporate law firm in Boston, Massachusetts. She obtained her B.A. from Connecticut College, where she graduated summa cum laude with majors in History and Italian Studies and a minor in Religious Studies.
