ASSOCIATE

Steven’s practice is dedicated to defamation and crisis management. Steven has worked with clients across the United States and internationally, including in D.C., Virginia, New York, California, Colorado, Florida, Pennsylvania, Arizona, North Carolina, the U.K., France, and China. He has performed work for Fortune 500 companies, elected officials, and other high-profile and high-net-worth individuals facing unfair, hostile media investigations or false attacks in the press.

Steven has experience in all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation strategy and advice to trial preparation and execution. Many of his accomplishments involve highly sensitive and confidential matters that fall outside the public domain.

Steven also played an important role in the unprecedented and highly-publicized $3.375 million settlement and public apology from the Southern Poverty Law Center on behalf of British Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz and the Quilliam Foundation, based on false statements in the SPLC’s “Field Guide to Anti-Muslim Extremists.”
